Spring Shelves

The weather here in NY has been crazy! Crazy good! With temperatures in the 70’s we have major Spring fever going on here.

I wanted to pop in and show you just a little glimpse of the Spring touches I added this week to our dining room shelves. We are busy getting ready for a family vacation next week so I am in full packing mode.

Spring Shelves

I wanted only use items I already had so I found some old bottles, greenery, wooden beads, rocks and wood slices. I didn’t want to put too much on the shelves because I will start adding some Easter touches next week.

Spring Decor

I had beautiful pink tulips that my husband got me for Valentines Day but they didn’t last until I took these pictures. So I took a picture of them, printed and framed it. I like that it add a pop of Spring color to our shelves.

You can see how I made our faux monogram here.

I just wanted the house to feel Spring like the temps outside.

For a centerpiece for the dining room table, I skipped a runner and just placed some faux Ikea plants in these buckets I scored years ago from the Target dollar spot. I think I bought 10 or so for $1 each. I use them for everything! Makeup, hair ties, plants, driveway chalk.

I think skipping the runner just adds a rustic touch and the table is clean and simple.

Spring Decor

Who else has Spring fever? How do you decorate for Spring? Let me know in the comments on Facebook!

We've been having unusually warm weather here in Franklin too and we are loving it! Just like I'm loving that wood box on those shelves! Great use of two organic things!
