I thought this project was a really cute to add texture to your home as well as make it functional for the Holiday to display your cards. Bonus because you can use it to hold pictures and notes all year long!
The burlap I used was 5″ ribbon I had leftover from my Easiest Burlap Wreath and a small 1′ wired ribbon that had a little color edging so I thought it would be a nice contrast.
I found a frame that wasn’t being used, took out the glass and started to line up my 5″ ribbon. I then placed the 1′ ribbon the opposite way and lined it up for spacing.
Then I just started weaving the ribbon.
Once I had everything where I wanted it, I used packaging tape (since it was sitting in my junk drawer) and taped it to the back of the cardboard backing.
Put the frame back on and voila. So easy! It’s perfect to hold the special holiday cards!

What a cute idea, that's such a creative way to use a frame and burlap. I am always looking for ways to display cards, other than my kitchen counter. Thanks!
