Our Nursery

nursery header

So our little Henry is now 12 weeks old and I am finally getting around to writing a new post!

I am totally in love with our new little man and I am also in love with his room.

We choose to have his room the biggest, besides the master because since he was the oldest he would have the biggest room, so why start him in the small room and have to move him when another is sibling is born, right?

While trying to figure out what I wanted to do with his room of course I immediately went to Pinterest and scoped it out.

I decided on gray paint even before we knew whether it was a boy or girl because I figured it was a neutral color I could add any accent colors to and it will grow with him. Down the line if we want to spruce it up we could add decals, lines, shapes or whatever he wanted.

The paint color we chose was Sherwin Williams,  Argos which is just one shade lighter than our master bedroom color, Passive.

My favorite part of his room is his name hanging over his crib.

I love natural elements, so I knew I wanted to do something and this is what I came up with…you can learn how I did it here.

I absolutely love so many of the elements we put in here, and some of them took too much a lot of work but it is worth it watching little Henry find new things that catch his eye.

What’s your favorite thing in your child’s room?
