How to Dry Lavender

Cut Lavender

For drying, cutting Lavender before it opens is best.

Remove leaves and Bundle

Remove leaves on stems and create a bundle the size of making an "o" with your thumb and finger.

Wrap with Rubberband

Wrapping with a rubberband enables you to tighten it when the stems shrink as they dry.

Tie with string/twine

Tie the bundle with twine so you can hang it upside down.

Hang Upside Down

Hang the bundle upside down in a dark corner or room.

After 7-14 Days you will have beautiful dried Lavender to use as you wish!
