When creating a centerpiece, start with a tray or runner. Something that will hold and ground the groupings.
Then add a tall element. I used a vintage crock and added fall colored faux florals.
Next add a mid height item. For this one the small vessel I wanted to use was a little small so I added two neutral books to raise it up.
