One Room Challenge – Nursery Reveal

It’s done! The last 6 weeks have been a little tiring trying to get everything done for the One Room Challenge, but it is my fault, not only did we completely makeover the guest room into our nursery but we decided to makeover our entry and paint our kitchen cabinents. I was trying to rush the big projects before baby girl gets here in just three short weeks!

Well, I won’t keep it from you any longer.I know you came here for the good stuff! Here are the before and afters of our little girls room!

Baby Girl Nursery Changing Table

I really love how the room turned out. It feels soft, warm and soothing. Exactly what a newborn would want!

It was a little challenging configuring the room because it is so small, but she doesn’t need a lot of room anyway and I think this set up works the best for us.

Baby Girl Nursery Changing Area

I like this little changing area I created. This is the same desk I thrifted and painted for my son to use as a changing table. I love all the drawers to keep extra diapers, wipes, pjs and onesies.

I also learned not to have too much above the changing area because once little ones start grabbing at things anything is fair game that is close to them.

Girl Nursery Driftwood

I kept it simple with three pieces I created. Her name, The Lord’s Prayer and a driftwood piece.

Baby Girl Dress in Nursery

I’m excited for baby girl to wear her new dress and matching hat from my mom, Retired Grammie! (Visit her Etsy shop!) The hooks I DIY’ed which you can see here.

Girl Nursery Curtain Pull

I created this curtain pull from Hobby Lobby. I painted them white and distressed.

Girl Nursery Tulle

Every little girls room needs a little tulle right? I created a simple garland using different colors of tulle and lace.

This nursery is adorable. I LOVE the idea of turning the desk into a changing table. Perfect for all that storage.
